the respond in part relies upon on regardless of if the main cancers has certainly unfold to the lymph nodes or regardless of if the medical doctors are taking the lymph nodes out "purely in case." casting off the lymph nodes purely in case is a preventative diploma: no lymph nodes skill this is harder for many cancers cells to pass and advance someplace else (metastasize). regrettably, because of the fact the medical doctors are casting off the lymph nodes and checking her bones, the medical doctors suspect that the lymph nodes are showing maximum cancers and that the main cancers would desire to be becoming someplace else. this would impact survival lots; maximum cancers that's becoming someplace else is often extra severe and extra deadly. nevertheless, aggressive medical care, your buddy's customary well-being, the style of maximum cancers, etc make the survival possibilities variety lots. Your terrific guess is to desire and help the ill individual.

It isn't uncommon for some cancers to also spread to the lymph nodes. I had Stage II Breast Cancer, which is defined as a tumor of more than 1 cm and/or spread to some lymph nodes. That was 3 years ago, and I am doing just fine. I underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and have lab work and see my oncologist ever 6 months.

It can be beat!!!

if the cancer is in the lymph system, this is when it can get very dangerous. The lymph system is a drainage system for the whole body and now the cancer cells are in there, and they can reach organs in this route.

Lymph spreads the cells all over the body and they can metastasize - causing cancer in other locations in the body.

That's big trouble - it can travel to any part of the body thru the lymphatic system, and usually does.
