Call the vet and tell him what kind of pills the dog got into. He'll likely tell you to give him peroxide and will tell you how much to give... Or he'll tell you to bring the dog in so that he can administer charcoal and pump the poor dog's stomach.
How come the pills were left out so that the dog could get them?!?

Aw I love beagles. I have one they are great. Thing is, they will eat ANYTHING, so from now on make sure EVERYTHING is out of their reach. When my beagle ate chocolate (And she ate ALOT, was away for only 2 seconds, too) the vet told me to give peroxide. but ASK YOUR VET before you do ANYTHING!!!
If she starts having a seizure, (which is likely from a poisioning like that, if he ate alot of the pills,) also call the vet but DO NOT put your hand near his mouth. just make sure he's not hurting himself by banging into anything, is all you can do.

You should contact your vet or a veterinary poison control center immediately. The ASPCA has one.
What should be done depends on what exactly is in the medication your dog has ingested. You need to call them with the pill bottle in hand so you can give them more details about what the dog has eaten. Or, bring this to see your vet, ASAP.

No, there is no SAFE way to make him throw up. Give the dog some milk to calm his stomache and if he has eaten more than just one or two pills, take him to the vet before his blood becomes laced to a high toxicity. If he begins to vomit and has diareah, then you definately know he has eaten too many and veterinary attention is needed pronto. Do not wait too long.

Hydrogen Peroxide...(I'd call the vet first though)
My dog swallowed something when she was younger, I called the vet and he told me to give her hydrogen peroxide. It didn't take long until she got rid of everything in her stomach.
I'd at least give the vet a call first!!!

I'm not going to repeat an answer here, but I would tell you to do the exact same thing as DP told you!! Yes, you can use peroxide to make a dog vomit.

Sometimes it is better if they don't throw up, it just depends on what the contents are in the pills.
PLEASE DO YOUR DOG A HUGE FAVOR AND CALL A VET TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU NEED TO DO!!!!

Take the dog to the Vet IMMEDIATELY. They have the proper medication -- most likely will give him activated charcoal (no not the BBQ kind) or pump his stomach or something. At least call the Vet and get advice. He may say to give him some Syrup of Ipecac and then go there.

DONT MAKE HIM THROW UP ON HIS OWN. ur best bet is to take him to the vets where they should give him something to vomit. he should be ok if he only swallowed a few pills. but if he ate like the whole bottle, get vet help immediately. if not, wait a while. give the pills a while to hit his digestive system, then ur dog should vomit on hiw own. give it a shot.
