I need to know how long and how to do it for each please! Thanks!

To boil it - just cut it up in bite size peices, put it in some boiling water and let it boil for about 5-10 minutes - check texture with a fork. Drain water - mash or eat like it is or do whatever you are going to do with it.

In a toaster oven, it would take a good hour if whole.

What i do is poke some holes in it with a fork around the potato not just in one spot, the wrap it in tinfoil put it in an OVEN not a toaster oven, for about 45min on 300 to 350 depending on the oven. It should just slice in two like a knife through hot butter.

I think if you microwave it for about 5 minutes and then put it in the oven it cooks up a lot faster (like in about 10 mins). It's been a while since I did it, but it's one of the few things that microwaving doesn't screw up too much.

When baking I like to put mine in the oven between an hour and an hour-and-a-half. This makes the skins very crispy, and the butter almost liquifies when it hits the potato.

I put the oven at about 400 degrees.

Cheesy Smashed Potatoes

Prep Time: 15 min
Total Time: 35 min
Makes: 6 servings, 1/2 cup each

1 lb. (about 3 small potatoes) red potatoes, cut into chunks
1 cup bite-sized cauliflower florets
1/4 cup BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream
1 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese

PLACE potatoes and cauliflower in large saucepan. Add enough water to cover.
BRING to boil on high heat. Reduce heat to medium; simmer 20 min. or until vegetables are tender. Drain; return to pan.
ADD sour cream; mash until vegetable mixture is light and fluffy. Stir in cheese.

Substitute
Substitute 1 cup frozen cauliflower florets for the fresh cauliflower.

Use Your Microwave
Place potatoes and cauliflower in large microwaveable bowl; add water to cover. Cover bowl with wax paper. Microwave on HIGH 20 min. or until vegetables are very tender. Continue as directed.

boiling,,just boil for 25min and poke at it with a fork,,see if its done if not keep on going,,,
toaster oven i never used such a thing,,but i a oven it takes 45 min,,so maby be the same????
