I don't flat iron and blow dry my hair everyday. At most, once a week. I use hot-oil, I deep condition, regular conditioner, shampoo, and dandruff shampoo(just to make sure it's really clean), but my hair still won't grow. Has anyone been in this situation, and what work for you?

any type of heat that is put on your hair will damage it. When you blow dry use some type of heat protectant. You need to get your dead/split ends cutten off which is probably the reason why it isn't growing. Also do some deep conditioning to your hair you can put mayonaisse in your hair for 20. min before taking a shower.

I have the same problem... It has taken me about 6 or 7 years to grow hair down to my bra line...from shoulder length. The only thing that has helped speed up mine is taking a daily vitamin and keeping it healthy with next to no chemical treatments and a 1/2 inch trim every 4-5 months. If you get any great answers, email me at soulfaithful2006@Yahoo.com. Please no solicitors!

I use Main and Tail shampoo. It took my hubby 2 years to convince me, but after using it for 3 months saw a huge difference in my hair, from thickness to growth.

even though u do those treatments, the blow drying is still damaging ur hair. u need to get the ends trimmed, because if they are damaged then hair doesnt grow.

I've heard that some vitamins and minerals can help. One i know for sure is Biotin. Also some foods are helpful with hair growth, such as green leafy veggies.

I use olive oil, put it in your hair for half n hour, before taking a shower...I love Olive oil for you hair it keeps it healthy, but it also smells if you keep it in and go out, so you dont want to do that, it also darkens your hair from time to time.....
