I'm a VERY shy man, at least until I get to know someone a little. It's absolutely terrifying to me to try to ask someone out. I probably have missed out on countless dating experiences, just because I am too freaking shy to approach a woman and ask her out for a simple cup of coffee. A woman isn't going to magically know that I am interested but too shy to ask her out. I don't know what to do. How do women feel about shy men?

It's the whole approaching and asking a woman out part that I have ALL the trouble with. If I can get past that initial hurdle, everything else comes naturally and I will open up just fine.

Honey we love em! We know how hard it is to put ur balls out there and hope we don't step all over them while we politely say no, so don't give up. Being asked out is THE ultimate compliment; you're saying I am attractive, and that's never bad.

Adorable. You are missing out a lot of companionship. Just practice saying hello to a lady for a few days, just in passing say a casual Hi. Maybe that will help build your confidence. Good luck.

Most would rather have a confident guy. I think once they go out with the cocky type a few times, and have the bad experiences, they may like shy guys more... I dunno lol.

If a shy guy can't even relax around me, it's a HUGE turn off. If I have to do EVERYTHING in conversation and the relationship, I'm not going to stick around to find out more.
