For dry frizzy hair you have to try LO'real Nature's Therapy Moisturizing shampoo and Moisturizing conditioner (in the tub)

I swear by it!

I buy it from Sally's beauty supply. Here it is online

Also, if you are going for a straight style-another of my favorites is Matrix Sleek Look shampoo and conditioner. You can find this at Target and it comes in an orange bottle.

After you shower, try putting some clear liquid "smoother" in your hair. Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, an amount the size of a quarter will really decrease the frizz and increase the shine.. My favorite brand is Biosilk, but Citre Shine and Pantene both make decent versions of this.

not a shampoo, but great to help with frizzy hair, after you shampoo
go to the health food store, get a bottle of aloe vera gel, not juice. it will be thick, clearish and a little bumpy. wash and condition your hair as usual, towel dry. pour some aloe vera gel into the hand, and squish out the lumps, distribute it through your hair. comb in through well, style as you would like, you can let it air dry then comb thru with your fingers or a wide tooth comb. this will calm the hair, make it very shiny and healthy looking without stickiness or odor. do not brush hair while wet.
