I'm dating an older woman right now. I asked her out and never asked her age. I found out on the date that she is 8 years older than me. Age should never be an issue, and it only becomes an issue if you have a problem with it.
I guess I'm trying to say that you should ask her out just like she wasn't older than you. If she brings up age as a topic dismiss it as unimportant.

Try an act mature and just have a pleasant conversation. Don't do anything silly or tell any stupid jokes.

Show her that you're mature enough for a relationship. Talk to her, get to know her-like you would do if you were trying to get someone to like you in your age group.

Approach her in a mature, respectful, friendly manner and ask her what she likes to do, then ask her is she would like to do one of those things with you.
