Yes. It's real. In the video game. I believe(note I state believe, not know) that it's true in reality as well. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

i remember when pokemon was getting popular - my son was in grade 1 (he's now in grade 9) and some kids at his school were not allowed to watch the show because of the evolutionary phases contradicting their anti evolution theories. i couldn't believe it! IT'S A TV SHOW! it's fiction, it's not real! but these same people were allowed to watch power rangers or other shows with imaginary characters in it. they are so afraid that kids might have a different opinion or view on life that they try to shelter them.
