Hi--
i have a question.. it might sounds stupid, but i just thought i'd ask.... my teeth are sensitive so i need to use a toothpast for that, but i feel they are not clean enough afer i brush them with that.. so i use another one after i'm done with the first one... basically here is how i brush my teeth:
1-brush with sensitivity toothpaste
2-brusth with regular toothpaste (listerine)
3-mouthwash with listerine
4-brush with leave-in toothpaste (fluoride for prevention)

and my question is: when i'm done brushing is the first toothpaste still acting on my teeth, or did it get washed/brushed away with the 2nd or mouthwash?

Why do you think they aren't clean enough with the sensitivity toothpaste? The toothpaste doesn't really "clean" your teeth. Rather the manual action of brushing your teeth cleans them.

Do you just prefer the "tingling" of the listerine toothpaste and mouthwash? If so, do this: brush with the toothpaste you prefer. Eliminate the mouthwash. Brush with leave-in paste. The extra fluoride often fills in dental tubules and reduces sensitivity.

Consider switching from the harsher listerine toothpaste to one like Colgate Total or Crest ProHealth.

If you are doing all that the first toothpaste is pretty much useless since you are brushing it away too quickly after applying it. I think you are doing too much. Over brushing is just as bad as underbrushing.
Try doing #3 first, then #2 and changing #2 with #1 in the morning to apply the sensitivity paste.

Yep, you're probably washing away the benefits of the 1st brushing. And Listerine isn't something to play with. You just stated that your teeth are sensitive why are you using something that strong. Here's mine.
plain baking soda then the toothpaste.
