The word "christ" means annointed in Greek. So you are asking how many years was it before ________ was annointed. I assume you mean Jesus. So you tell me -- exactly when *was* he annointed -- at birth, at 12 years, on resurrection....?????

Your'e probably not going to get a good answer to this question. If anybody tell's you 6,000 or a low number like that, it means they believe in the young earth theory: that the bible has recorded every generation from Adam to Abraham. Most of everyone else is going to give you a huge number near 4 billion, they are basing this of dating of the universe and our planet done with science instead of religon.
