Have your dog learn to use a dogdoor so he can have access to the backyard at all times. Also you can hire a dogwalker to give him walks when you are busy. I know some companies that have very cheap pay needs. Also give him squeaky toys, and even old dog food bags can make wonderful toys. (My dogs LUV to tear the food bag to shreds looking for the food inside). Another fun game is one of those balls with food inside. Smart dogs love experimenting with ways to get the food. When you are home, love on your dog as much as you can. Even if you are doing homework, if possible.

I remember seeing this on Dr Harry's show years ago. Build a sand pit and hide lots of goodies for your dog in there. Once you spend a little time showing him how the game works eg digging with him hehe! He will LOVE it. You can also make this a once a week recreational activity were you do the gardening and your dog digs for treats. You will be spending time with your dog, but doing different things.

I would suggest you get him another dog to play with. Then again if you do not have time for one dog you will not have time for two. Look around and see what exciting new dog toys they have out there you may find something he will really enjoy until you come back home to play with him. Good Luck!

regular old dog toys are usually best if you keep him outside. some dogs like to chase the animals or play with toys that light up or move, so you can keep him entertained that way. if you kept him inside i was gonna say that the tv is sometimes an eye-catcher for dogs.

Well you can buy a special bowl that is quite heavy and your dog wont be able to spill it.sometimes you need to train your dog not to spill food
you can buy it new toys when it has been good for the past month(he can find little,a lot,or no interest at all)
and sooner or later(hopefully)he can be entertainted

Maybe you need food in bigger chunks in the Kong Toy. Get your dog another dog or something else for company.

â¥Imitate the doggie. Its hilarious and your neighbors think your a creepo.
Also yu can get another doggie for your doggie. I suggest a younger dog to annoy and tire out your doggie.
Here is another idea ot try. Put peanut butter on the roof of your dogs mouth(on the inside). It keeps them entertained for a long time. â¥

you should try hiding treats around the garden so while your away he has something to look for or you could hire someone to go to your house and take care of the dog and play with it.

Unfortunatly your dog wants your attention and not that of an inanimate object. Playing catch with a tennis ball is more exciting, he gets the attention from you and the excercise.
