Because he probably is scared. Why does he think you are pressuring him? are you? dont bring it up anymore, when he is ready to marry you he will ask, if you cant wait then maybe you should find someone who is truly ready for marriage. Trust me marriage isnt all that it is cracked up to be, but marriage should be when both people are ready. It can be a beautiful thing but you wnat to make sure he is marrying you because he wants to and not because he just wants to shut you up.

He is scared. YOu use the word "pressure" Pressure is used on someone when they really don't want to do something.
The question is WHY would you even want to marry someone that you had to pressure?????
He definatly isn't ready. Perhaps he fears that marriage would really change things.
It sounds like the two of you don't communicate much. If you can't have a open converstation about this then you are far from ready to be married.
And you need to know that whatever it is about him that you don't like when you are dating will be much worse than when married. Many people think that marriage solves the problems.
Marriage is wonderful.......but only if two people are 100% dedicated

They all act like that! And he acts scared because he is scared. Men have differant needs and wants. Once all of his friends start getting married, he wont be so hesitant.

because he doesn't want to commit to you like that. he doens't have those kinds of feelings for you. if you are pressuring him, then you need to find somebody else becaue nobody want sto be pressured into a marriage.
