It's the "or what" part. Remember all the scandal about the parts used in hot dogs, including insects and rodent droppings? The same goes for Spam to me and it tastes terrible. Yuck. Try Corned Beef in a can...much better.

It's a processed ham food product. There are various scraps of the hog in there. You probably don't want to know what parts they are.
