The reason is that a vast body of data supports the fact that it is (mostly) us. Other theories don't have a strong basis in data. Some (the sun, volcanoes) have always been seriously considered by climatologists, but are directly contradicted by the data.

The best summary of the data is here;

http://www.ipcc.ch/spm2feb07.pdf......

The data, not some brilliant theory, is why the vast majority of climatologists believe it is us causing it. Proof here:

And why this is true:

"the question of global warming was settled years ago for all but a few holdouts in the scientific community"

Heating of the planet`seams ficticous to me, First the aliens appeared in different parts of our planet, then people are abducted and returned, then animals, then unusual weather activity all over the planet. I really wonder If.=hypothices only==suppose the aliens with their technology is creating these phenominoms, to clean the planet of all the liveing to infiltrate this planet with their kind, a new species. just suppose.

Almost certainly. I don't think there's a single scientist working today who denies this.

There are, however, several skeptics in the scientific community who question the idea that humans are causing it, but since the release of the new IPCC report they're certainly in the minority.

Absolutely no doubt about it if you look at the collected data. What is disputed is whether it is a natural cycle or a man made thing

we are experiencing global warming. our cars planes and factories are all emitting way too much carbon dioxide. that creates the green house effect when the c02 (carbon dioxide) rises into the atmosphere. that traps the suns rays in the atmosphere and therefore raises world wide temperatures. hope this helps!!! :-)

Definitely- the average temperature of Earth has gone up in the past few years.
If you don't believe in it, though, try going outside for 20 minutes and see if you don't get burned!

The data supports that. It's still questionable how much of that is due to us.
