i am 16 5' 4" and 114lbs my mom keeps telling me i am anorexic because i dont i am always cold and dont eat a lot (about 800 cal. a day give or take) but i dont think i am because i am not underweight and have not lost weight for a long time so who is correct

I found this website for information for you, form what i took of it it is a eating disorder that skinny people feel there overweight but they arent and it is a very dangerous disorder. but you can read it here the headline is what is anorexia

A 16 year old needs way more than 800 calories to be healthy. If you are moderately physically active, you could easily eat 1500 calories and not gain weight. You may not be losing weight right now but you are probably doing damage to your body with the low calories. I would increase you caloric intake at least to 1300. I don't think you're necessarily anorexic, though. Do you obsess over food? Do you exercise constantly just to get rid of the few calories you ate? If so, then you might want to see a dr. about it.

You're probably showing the early signs of anorexia. You need to eat at least 2000 calories a day.

You should be eating more calories. 800 a day is not enough keep you healthy. Maybe have your blood tested to see if you're low on iron... I was always cold when I had low iron.

your weight is good. You aren't anorexic. However, at only 800 calories per day, you will start to lose weight.

um...you need to eat more than 800 cal. a day. eat more healthy fatty foods like avocados

anorexia is when you don't eat or hardly eat at all and start losing weight, at 16 you need to eat right so you completely develop right other wise your body will be susceptible to all kind of diseases.

anorexic girls are usally really bony and lose 5-10 each week...........i know because i once dated a anorexic girl

duh u don't have ana, its a mental illness. can u look at ureself in the mirror, or do subconciously count calories for air you breathe in through ure mouth? if u do, i'd say u were ana. but if u don't u obv. aren't.
