Livingroom. Why, brave color combos and brave pattern juxtapositions. Had an artist come up with color scheme based on our upholstery colors and then balance the colors in the room with regards to the windows orientation. Since the room has three exposures, it was tricky. Upholstery on couch is a plaid that is actually not blue, but rather a purple with gold, green and red. Focal wall is purple which blends into front entry and hall, other walls are a rich cream, floors are a dark brown brick. Ceiling white. Wrought iron which I hate but can't remove was painted red against the purple, gutsy. Other chairs are gold leather, carpet is a red oriental. As the sun goes across the room, the walls change color, it is fascinating.......that's to the artist's eye.

My room. It's my sanctuary. And it separates me from social disturbances.

my living room. Everything is in here - my computer, tv, radio, CDs, DVDs, and book collection. I even eat here.
