Yes it can cause gum problems because it can effect saliva production levels. Clonazepam can cause a lot of other symptoms especially with long term usage like tolerance/dependence and withdrawal problems as well as anxiety problems. Whatever you do don't stop taking clonazepam abruptly as you can get serious withdrawal problems even life threatening such as seizures and anxiety and insomnia. Clonazepam is long acting so people often don't feel the withdrawal until up to 5 days or more after stopping.
