LimeWire Pro is the way to go. I work on computers and build them and I have used it since as far back as I can remember. It's ad-free, no spyware, nor viruses. Download any kind of file you want, but mainly music.

yes, all P2P run the risk of viri and fradulent files. i use the yahoo music engine (used to be awesome, but they keep chaning the plans to get more money out of people, so i wouldnt suggest yahoo)... id go with the itunes suggestion above. highly flexible and good prices on music.

again, ALL P2P run the risk of viruses. period. PERIOD.

most yahoo services pale in comparision to others. their web service sucks, their music engine constantly tries to shake you down for more money (i cant change my equalizer settings unless i "upgrade" -- so i just use media player), etc.

BUT GO LEGIT -- ITS CHEAPER THAN YOU'D THINK AND SAFE

Soundclick is virus free, downloads of music here are mainly free and there is a lot of good independant music you can choose from..

For example, listen to this song - Resonator!
