Your tattoo should be governed by yourself and not public opinion. If that's what you want, then that's your choice. Others may think it's lame or ugly, but ultimately shouldn't we be enforcing the mindset that we are free to express what we want with our bodies, but just be mindful of our personal judgement that we pass upon ourselves as we get older? You might regret it, you might not, just bare that in mind.

Some will think tattoo's should be personal with significance, as I do now, but that didn't stop me getting my first generic tattoo on impulse when I was younger, the main reason being to illustrate a point to someone. Four years on I regret the design to a certain extent, but it still signifies a time in my life to me and that's important. It also taught me a lesson to think about my body modifications before I got into them, good lesson learned if you ask me.

Be happy, please yourself, you're not hurting anyone.
And fundamentally, ten years down the line you can always get it covered up.

I'm all for tattoos but if you have to ask people you don't kn ow if you should get it then its not normally a good sign. If you are going to get one sit down with an artist and make sure you're 100% happy with it, better still dseign it yourself and save yourself the cost of laser removal 20 years down the line. and take no notice of anyone who tells you not to get one at the end of the day its your decision

i know exactly the image u mean..... and i say 'go for it', but get it done in a place that's not going to be too on show.... tattoos are a great way of reminding u of the stages u went through in life - kind of like living photographs - but u have also got to think about what it's going to look like when u are 60 !!! i have a dragon tattoo on my left hip. i got it done about 8 years ago. i don't regret having it done at all, i still love it, but i'm glad that i didn't get it done somewhere like my arm..... have u thought about having it done on your back ? whatever u decide, good luck. it hurts afterwards for about 2 days, and it itches like hell when it's healing, and u can't scratch at it incase u damage the design, but it should all be worth it in the end !

that's totally up to you. but when i met my husband 6 years ago..his all time favorite band is 'saves the day' and he wanted a tattoo no matter what. then about 2 years ago their band started to change their music and he was very disappointed and he thanks god for not getting a tattoo. even though he still like them, but not like he used to. hope you make the right decision, good luck.

Make sure it's what you really want before you get it. Having it removed or covering it up later can get expensive.

Also, it's actually illegal to replicate a copyrighted image, so you may not find a reputable artist willing to do it.

Think it over...good luck!

Everyone has their own taste when it comes to getting a tattoo. I say, if it's what you want, go for it. Sometimes, I wish I had gotten one years ago.

YES! green day will be one of those bands to go down in history, such as U2 or the Beatles. they will always be remembered when they go out of the music business
