I agreed to go shopping with him. We drove 25 miles to a store and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. It wasnt really shopping, it was pretty much like lets see how fast we can get out of here and get home. I felt totally rushed. He flew in the store and was standing at the door before I made it down the 1st isle.
He has to leave for work at 5 pm and is always trying to get me to "take a nap" with him before he leaves. I work 7am to 7 pm and am not interested in sleeping in the middle of the day. What is his deal?

Going clothes shopping with a woman ranks right down there with getting a root canal for guys. We hate it mainly because ladies take forever to make up their minds as to what they want. AND, they do not just pop into a store to buy one item and then leave. They have to accessorize, and also check out the clearance rack. Think about how much you love it when we guys go shopping in Radio Shack. Same thing. Hence, the fast-forward mode.

He probably wants an afternoon delight with you because you come home at night totally exhausted from your 12 hour shift, and the last thing on your mind is a roll in the hay. You want to eat, take a shower, and hit the sheets to go to sleep.

That's the deal here. Maybe the two of you can compromise with one mid-week snuggle instead of waiting until the weekend rolls around.
