We can wright letters to the editors of our papers.

We can protest and get others to help in our cause.

There are lots of ways.

Almost all candidates for office endure question and answer sessions from the voters as they make appearances. If none of the candidates mention a problem, maybe they don't know about it. Ask them a question in a civilized manner and you may give the candidate a new issue to work on. If you don't try, nothing will happen.

Individually, there is not much of a chance; unless you " Make a Donation" to whatever politician you're talking to. Which is the main reason the 2 party system is only listening to corporations & special intrest groups. They have the money therefor they have the politicians ear. We can hope our politicians will listen to us, but don't hold your breath. You're only recourse is to vote for the one that didn't sell his soul to get onto the ballad. Unfortunately I don't think that is possible.

we can WRITE letters to local government, which is the elementary school way of dealing with things, but load your letter with enough properly contexted 'big' words and send it to your STATE's biggest newspaper and politician might pick it up as a campaign topic and it may gain local to national importance.

another idea is to post your opinions on a popular political blog and hope the blogger writes about it, or write as a guest for a blog and highlight your ideas HOWEVER, be sure to pay homage to the opposing side of your issue, as to not sound over-zealous.

This is a joke right. We are so naive. What good is voting when elections can be rigged at the federal level?

It's time for action NOT words.
