than what about Jesus. Do you assume Jesus is the Greatest Conceivable Being? If the original perfect being9the creator) is subject to change, than this perfect being is not a perfect being. Its self-contradictory. What is your opinion?

God did not "change into Jesus."

Rather, Jesus Christ who is the second person of the Blessed Trinity, assumed human form and came to Earth.

God bless you.

Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby, and grew to be a man, a human being with our weaknesses. The bible says he was acquainted with grief. We are sinners though and he was without sin. Yes he changed. He grew up from a baby just as any other human being would. It was necessary that a man die to pay for the sin of man through whom sin had entered the world. Jesus Christ did this as a human being, a perfect human being who was God incarnate. All of the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in him bodily but the flesh, the humanity of Jesus was not God. No where in the bible does it say "God, the son."

Jesus is perfect and is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He was with God at creation. In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the word was God.

Who changed? And God the Father is the greatest conceivable being, so therefore your question and logic are found lacking.

I'm a Christian believer in the theology of Swedenborg (1688 - 1772), and the Bible's inner meaning. The nature of God, to me, is best explained on the references below. In summary though, I believe that Jesus and God are one and the same.

These are just my beliefs though; I am not trying to proselytize or force them on you. =)

Since Jesus IS God (in the flesh), then I would say no, it's not self-contradictory.
