No, you don't need advice. The dog's shouldn't mate and they have sense enough to know it.

Why are you wanting to breed them? The puppies will not be purebred, and there are plenty of cute mutt puppies at the pound. I have no problem with someone breeding purebred registered dogs if they are knowledgeable about the breed and want to better it... but i just don't get the"designer dog" thing. She may have just come in heat and is not ready to accept a male yet. Wait a few days, think about if you really want to bring these puppies into the world and are able to take care of them, then try again.

first off, STOP. Don't breed your mutt. The world (and the various animal rescue centers) doesn't need the puppies that you and your friends inevitably won't want. There is already a crisis of pet overpopulation from irresponsible breeding, and YOU would be contributing by continuing with this. Consider it a blessing that this little terrier has deemed your female frigid and stop while you're ahead.

Simple you do not. You should spay and neuter your pet dogs and leave breeding to the people that know what they are doing and that have better resources then YA.
BTW dogs do not produce children only humans do and we do not have a shortage of mutts in the world.

Breeding is a very big responsibility, it's very expensive, has many risks involved, and requires alot of knowledge and experience. It should only be done, by a responsible, educated and professional breeder, and not just by a person, that wants little puppies running around. There are too many animals already, because of inexperienced breeders, and not enough homes for them. Please do your dogs and yourself a big favor, and get them fixed.

Personally, I'd keep them apart and get her spayed once she's out of season. I know it's tiring to hear AGAIN, but they are just far too many unwanted dogs already to be adding to the numbers.
Plus, you can't even spell chihuahua or terrier, so I fear for your capacity to know about bringing up puppies.

Maybe you should show him how it's done... HA HA HA HA I'm only teasing..
I'm not going to give out advice on spaying/neutering... maybe they just don't like each other "like that".
