It's not good, but its not terrible, yes I'd suggest trimming to be better, but it's a delightful hobby that kills hours, almost as entertaining as yahoo questions, i agree:)

hi, i'm from the united kingdom and its such as you're speaking approximately me! I truly have executed the comparable component for years, whether I truly have my hair cut back and theres no chop up ends I snap my hair and lead them to, which has resulted contained in the decrease back suited layer of hair being in ordinary terms 2 inches long. something of my hair is approximately 10-12 inches long so I in all likelihood look stupid from the decrease back! yet I cant give up and that i want help too. i think of that's a compulsive component.

In one word: NO. Because they will split up the hair shaft causing even more hair damage. You can, however, hide split ends by twisting your hair into a bun or chignon. Serums can temporarily seal a split end, but they can't repair them. You need to get trim your split ends not make more. I recommend you go see a hair doctor to help your damaged hair. Also, get a hobby.

Will we'll soon find out won't we? keep it up and see the results. first off it does not do any irreversible damage but not many enjoy actually pulling them apart like you do it could be something new for you to discover...enjoy splitting.

no! one of the reasons we get split ends,is tension brushing or pulling to hard.when you stretch hair past it's
tensile strength you cause it to change structure an it splits
so if you to get rid of them....it may be fun, but split ends look bad so, don't pull

You really should have your hair trimmed at least every 6-8 weeks, at least. It keeps your hair from splitting and girls, don't we all feel better after we've had our hair done. lol

you're destroying your hair by doing this. later on you'll have to cut off a lot more than you'd like to fix it. its best to leave them alone and get a trim about once every two months or so.
