Have you ever stayed at a five star hotel?

Which one? What was it like? How were you treated? Thanks!

I stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel when I was in college (my gf had won a trip to see a tv show filming)
Although it was quite apparent that we were neither "movers or shakers", the hotel staff treated us with the utmost of respect and warmth. In the late afternoon and evening, we would sit around the pool to eat and swim and met many famous people as well as a few billionaires. With the exception of one jerk, we had a fabulous time.

It's a few hours later and I just remembered a funny story.
We had emptied the refrigerated mini-bar in order to stock it with cheap beer and snacks. We were in our room (pool side) with several other couples when our "faux pas" was revealed. We all had a good laugh about it.
When we checked out, someone had bought us the very expensive bathrobes that the hotel sold to their guests.
Our benefactor had requested anonymity, and I never found out who it was.

I also ordered a vodka martini, shaken, not stirred, from the Long Bar, in Raffles, Singapore.

I have stayed at a number of them. Service is excellent. You are treated quite well. I generally find the hotels to be serene and quiet over all.

I had an interesting incident happen in Los Angeles a few years ago. I was staying at the St Regis. I was there on a bird watching trip. We had been out in the field when we came to check in. I was grungy and probably smelled badly. I was expecting to get some really ugly looks. Instead they were wonderful. They didn't act like I was any different than anyone else.

definite, as quickly as, in eighth grade my sister and that i went with my dad to Santa Monica over the summer season, and we stayed on the Fairmont interior the Santa Monica area. it extremely is it. My kinfolk many times is going for 3 or 4 famous guy or woman motels. no longer something under a three famous guy or woman. We finally end up at places like: The Hampton motel convenience motel holiday motel ideal Western (I hate ideal Westerns!)

I have in Grand Copthorne in Singapore . Great service beautiful room ...... Miss it and will probably stay there again this summer .......
