I emailed my CV to my personal mail at home. I didnt download the attachment only opened it, I saved the attachment using the toolbar icon but when I opened the file again the edit version wasnt there. Does my yahoo email account contain temporary files? If so where can I access them.

yes it would be in the temporary internet files..

You might be able to start winword and then use open..it should show up in the "Recent files" under the file menu..

Silly fool haha. Yes there would be a temporary file. All downloaded files are held somewhere it's finding it.

I would suggest doing a search for files modified on the date of download.
Also there is something called a temporary internet folder which has all of the files in.

Please check that.

If you haven't cleared out internet cache, most likely.

Since internet cache is stored in different folders with varying hexidecimal values, a manual search will be very long and arduous.

If you know the name of the tile, do a search for the file:

START
Then follow the prompts.
