Helping a charity?

i am doing some event and fundraisers to raise money for a womens house charity. has anyone got some good ideas about what sort of things we could do? Any help would be really appreciated.

You could try a charity car wash. We did that to help raise money for charity a couple of years ago. We raised just over £300 in one day.

Ask a hair salon, day spa, nail salon, local women's boutiques and girly restaurants to offer a discount one day a week and give you the proceeds. They give you the proceeds and you give them the advertising and boost in sales.
Hat and Pearls Luncheon....
Have all the women wear their best hats and prettiest pearl jewelry. The entertainment would be an elegant fashion show and tea party type luncheon.
Princess and Daddy Ball
Dads and their daughters by tickets to a dance. Girls dress up like little princess and dads in suits or tuxs... Have silent auction for presents to give to mom.

Maybe you should have a garage sale to raise money....
Or do car wash on saturdays....
Lawn the neighbors lawn.. you know stuff like that.....

how about a three legged football tournament (i might have just made that up) or a bake sale, or coffee morning, or concert, or bingo. good luck! :0)
