Sure. Cream of mushroom is great and cream of chicken is good too.

First salt and pepper the chicken and put the breasts into a hot pan with some oil and brown the breasts on both sides.

Transfer to a baking dish or casserole dish and add the soup. Cover with foil and cook for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 170 degrees F.

Remove foil (careful its hot!) and sprinkle with your favorite shredded cheese.

Return to the oven (UNCOVERED) until the cheese melts and turns bubbly. Keep your eye on it so the cheese does not burn.

Sprinkle with some fresh chopped flat-leaf parsley.

Ummmmmmmmm

justme... (and some other Answerers) have informed you. Here is how to make it a bit better: first, in a roasting dish broil the chicken breasts, skin side up, until skins are browned (about 4-6 mins under broiler). Remove, while turning heat down to 335F (165C). Then pour on soup. Add 1/4 can water and 1/3 can milk and 1/4 can dry white wine, and some black (or white) ground pepper and stir. Bake until it has been bubbly for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

This simple procedure can easily be manipulated for varied differing tastes for example: adding some prepared mustard or dry regular curry powder will give it a French flair; adding a bit of mustard and some paprika and substituting soured cream for the milk will make it daringly Hungarian.

Rinse off the chicken under water and put them in a baking dish. Open the soup and pour it over them with a 1/2 can of milk. Bake in the oven for 40 min at 350 degrees. If you have any rice, put that in the dish as well. Or put some potatoes in the oven at the same time as the chicken.

you put the rice in the cake pan about 1 1/2 cup per person and put 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and 2 cans of water and mix it up then lay the chicken breast in the mix then cook for about 1 1/2 hours with tin foil over

Chicken and cream of mushroom is wonderful. Other items to add for flavor could include sour cream, worstershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic and/or some meat seasoning. You can add potatoes, celery, onion, carrots or any veggies to it while it bakes. If you do not want to add veggies then make mashed potatoes or rice as a side entree and have veggies on the side.

Yes, I have done this before. Good Luck! :)

that's what I do and it is WONDERFUL! i season and sautee the chicken on both sides, then I add the soup and a half can of water to the pan. I put in a dash of thyme, some sliced onions and bell pepper, then put a lid on it. I let it simmer for 25-30 minutes and serve t with rolls, salad, and rice or mashed potatoes. DELICIOUS!

Do you have either Italian or Ranch or Catalina salad dressing? You can bake it with any of those, and it will be tasty.
Yes, you can do it with mushroom soup, or spaghetti sauce too. Then serve it with noodles.
