Jesus was born to a Jewish family and he grew up as a Jew. Therefore, he was circumcised as a baby according to the customs practised by the Jews.

yes he was as would be the jewish custom, if not mistake his forskin is in a church on the sea of galiee as early churches needed a relic to start a church (hence the fact that the skin was preserved). However, i am high sceptical that it is the geniune piece but?? For instance there are two heads of john the baptist in the middle east less than 3 miles apart

I don't like to think about such things, but yes.

I believe it was the Apostle Paul who advocated that circumscion was not necessary for non-jewish christians.

Yes he was circumcised, as he was a Jew & that is a part of their faith.
