Why is it that the few times I go out not looking my best, I run into a handsome man or someone I know. I usually try to always look put together, dressed nice, hair done etc...... But like today I was late for work so I threw my hair into a ponytail., put on capris with flip flops. Very little make up. Well of course the cutest guy came in. I am single so I am always looking to meet someone. But it seems they only cross my path when I do not look that great. Has that ever happened to you?

Yes, but do you always want to be "on" for the person you do end up seeing? Think about it like them running into you in this unfabulous state is how they would see you when your married. your not always going to be put together and that is okay. What's not healthy is to think that you always have to look 110% all the time to attract a decent guy.

I HATE when that happens. If I go out running and make a quick stop at the store or something on the way back home, THAT is when I'll bump into someone or have the opportunity to (being in sweaty gym clothes). Not so much when I go out to the pub with pals and most people there are pretty much either situated or just looking for a quick hook up.
Cheers to the hope that the next guy who walks into the office when you're not all made up, gets a kick out of you anyway. Then you can just knock his socks off when he does get the chance to see you at your finest!

OMG.....that is tooooooooo funny and tooooooooo true....why is this.....?.........that happens to me all the time and even worse when you run into an exboyfriend who dumped you....!! (can you tell that happened to me........)......once, and this is a true story, after a long long night of partying 3 of my girlfriends and I went to the grocery store all wretched out...really bad, sweats, no make up, hair all screwed up..didn't even brush our teeth......but....we needed vodka for the bloody marys.....(another great idea), well we got the vodka, and a 24 pack.....walking out we were greated by a news crew for a local station that was saying good morning america.......remember the show good morning america...don't even know if it is still on and they corralled us and told us to say our names and good morning america and like idiots we did and told where we were from,,,,,,we were on the dam* show and my parents saw it.......!!!!!! I sware this is a true story.....we were even slurring.....it was awful...my mother calls immediately after seeing it, it aired a few days later and said I looked tired and confused....I was an adult.....(sort of, at least age wise) and had my own place but talk about being caught with your bad face on..........!!!!!!
now it is funny but then.........not so funny.
And just so you know, you said you were single and always aware......try home depot......(but shower first!!!) lol....that place is a virtual petry dish of hot guys ........!!!!!

Oh my god, Yes it has. lol Girl, I don't know how some girls do it. I had those preppy blonde bimbos who used to get dolled up every single day even if they are just going to stay indoors you know and not see anybody. It's to much. I only get glamed up when I go out and the day I decide not to get fixed up her come the bachelors. It makes me soooooo freakin' mad. My hair is all in nots, no makeup, dirty clothes or not cute clothes, I'm wearing the clothes that make me look chubby lol. The worst is when I'm wearing like a tank top and I hate my arms I don't like my arms to show unless its my family and thats when the guys come and see me and I'm like hide me don't look. Other times I'm like man there goes the guy of your dreams and just cause you was lazy and didnt want to get girled up he's gonna walk right out of your life. It happens, what can you do. It's not like we're going to give up comfortable either.

All the time. Sucks doesnt it. But they say that when you're not looking you'll find someone. so just be yourself and when you least expect it it'll happen and it might be on your worst day. My mom met her boyfriend @ Kinko's at like 11pm and she wasn't looking that great. They've been together for 8 years now adn going strong. So dont worry about looks, worry about being yourself.

Yes, it had happened... but you have to get out of your mind that idea... because the mind is so strong, and what you think, you attract that thought....
So start thinking positive, and you'll meet guys when you want to, and only a few times, or never! it will happen again..

yes,today i dressed so good for my crush and he did not come today and i can wear the exact same close again for him tommorrow that sucks.i dressed pretty normal not interesting the days he is their,you are not the only one lol.
