"For the froward is abomination to the LORD:
but his secret is with the righteous.
33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked:
but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
34 Surely he scorneth the scorners:
but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
35 The wise shall inherit glory:
but shame shall be the promotion of fools. "

Jan,
No one can be. We have nothing to fear, but fear itself.

Thegreatseeker,
Then you are a wise man....as Solomon wrote... "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. "

Mibandibee,
Brings to mind an old favorite of mine:
I heard an old, old story,
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me;
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious blood's atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.
Chorus
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.
I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow'r revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,"
And somehow Jesus came and bro't
To me the victory.
Thanks!

RDSB,
"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God" (Psalm 53:1).
The Hebrew word translated "fool" in this verse is "nabal." It means "stupid" and "wicked" (Strong). We may say,
"The fool [the stupidly wicked person] hath said in his heart, There is no God" (Psalm 53:1).
