was very very hungry before the fever. Just not sick at all before or after fever????

Most likely you had some form of infection that the body was able to fight off without making you feel sick. Simple things like an ear infection can make your temperature rise. Night sweats are caused by infections also. So if you have those too are still fighting something off.

the human body temperature can alter radically throughout the day. You don't mention what your temp was, so you may not even have had a fever. Fever is associated with pathology, not necessarily with degree.
