I dont know why i don't have Paint in my computer i checked in accessoiries and nothgin..Also i tried teh SEARCH utility... i know thsi happened before and i intalled it usign the WINDOWS CD, and intall WINDOWS COMPONENTS.; howver this time Paint doen't appear as a choice anymore...any suggestions..can i download it from the Internet?

i looked in system 32 ..nothign.. also run mspaint.exe windows cannot find it..

Its only 335kb. so 1 of us could send it to you. You are going to have a problem when you try to send it to the System32 folder and it says a copy already exists.

Microsoft has set it up so you can't delete any system file. You can though delete the shortcut and apparently have done so.
If you are the only person using that computer, I suggest you forget that the delete function exists. and you shouldn't have a problem. If you do ever delete something in the future by mistake, there is an undo delete in the edit menu.

Look for mspaint.exe in the system32 folder.

You can also enter
%SystemRoot%\system32\mspaint.exe
(that's mspaint.exe)
in Start/Run and see if it works.

Look more thoroughly. It is typically installed by default. You're probably not looking where you should be or your menu is minimized.
