There is a great product called Drysol that is available at most chain stores and drugstores. If that doesn't work - look online for a product called "Maxim". Drysol works for me and is less expensive. You apply it once a day after showering. It will keep you dry all day in even the hottest weather.

There are a few things you can try. You could be allergic or sensitive to the deodorant you are using. Try switching brands/types (example switch from gel to solid, etc.). Pick a deodorant with a higher percentage of aluminum. You can determine this by checking the label. There are a couple new products including a Secret product which I believe is called Clinical Strength. If nothing works, see a dermatologist. They can prescribe something stronger or offer injections. Some people receive botox injections to reduce sweating. As a last resort, the dermatologist may offer surgery if he/she determines you have hyperhidrosis. The surgery involves cutting some nerves which control the sweating reflex. Don't be embarassed to see a doctor. They see this kind of thing all the time and could improve things a lot. Good luck.

Are you using deodorant or anti-persperant. There is a difference. Deodorant mainly tries to "mask" the smell whereas a good Anti-persperant will do wonders at stopping the perspiration all together. It is also smart to try and wear clothes that "breathe" This means they will let any persperation out rather than holding it all inside the article of clothing. Look at your clothing tags. The best fabric that "breathes" is cotton. Any other type, such as nylon, acrylic or any blends don't allow your body to breathe.

There's a big difference in DEODORANT & ANTI-PERSPIRANT.

You say you use deodorant, but try an anti perspirant. They work different, so it's just about using the right one for your body.

You many have to try different ones to test them out.

For now, try not to wear cotton shirts, as they attract sweat to the surface and give those sweat spots under the arms.

You can wear shirts with a lycra or polyester blend, they don't attract the sweat to the surface much.

the best thing to do is to try lots of different products.. i happen to like dove (solid, not roll on)... but i have a friend who uses men's anti-prespirant b/c that is the only thing that will work for her. make sure that your product is deoderant AND anti-prespirant... just plain deoderant won't make you stop sweating. If all else fails, go to your doctor/dermatologist. they can determine whether you have a medical problem, or they can prescribe you prescription anti-prespirant like certain-dri

Are you dehydrated? Armpit sweating can be a sign of dehydration. Make sure you drink a LOT of water during the day, that'll help. Do you have reason to be anxious or nervous at school? that may also contribute.

Tannic acid is supposed to help, and it can be found in tea. Look it up online but also talk with your doctor and see what advice they can give you. There are also underarm pads that are made for excessive sweating but it can be doubly embarrassing if they fall out of your clothes.

you could have a weird disorder where you sweat too much..my friend had it and she had her nerves in her back cut so she wouldn't sweat anymore...sorry i don't really have details about it. but ya same thing happens to me, i only sweat when i'm in public. i 've come to the point wher ei don't care anymore...that and i try to keep my arms down. if it bothers you that much try that new "prescription strength" deodorant...it's like 15 dollars, or you could go to a dermatologist..or maybe an endocrinologist? i'm not sure.

well, maybe you could try shaving your armpits if you don't already. according to our amazing science video (called 'teen dreams' yeah baby), armpit hair is to hold extra sweat so that there can be more odor which our ancestors thought attractive. go to a doctor if really nothing helps

Hi--:)
Its either pepersation or the temperture of the room you're sitting in.
If the room is hot, tell teacher to turn up the air a bit because you're hot.
It may just be your hormones, i say go to a doctor. They can fix this.
Dont be embarssed.
