I'm looking for ideas to help make a menu/reipe book for myself. Anything from healthy to junk food to exotic to comfort food. Also, how would one serve it, meaning presentation, what is it good with(deserts, sides, beverages), and what time of day (if it is a breakfast/lunch/supper). you don't have to give me a recipe (you could if you wanted to,though), just the name will do.

I love sushi!
I have been wanting to make this dish but I have not had time for it. But it's tuna steak with rice on the bottom, with a side of avocado. I would serve it with miso soup before hand. So it's kinda like having sushi but with bigger portions and you have to cut it.
there's a great recipe from food network.
Pan-Seared Tuna with Avocado, Soy, Ginger, and Lime
Recipe courtesy Tyler Florence
Show: Food 911
Episode: Party of One
2 big handfuls fresh cilantro leaves, finely chopped
1/2 jalapeno, sliced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 garlic clove, grated
2 limes, juiced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Pinch sugar
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 (6-ounce) block sushi-quality tuna
1 ripe avocado, halved, peeled, pitted, and sliced
In a mixing bowl, combine the cilantro, jalapeno, ginger, garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Stir the ingredients together until well incorporated.
Place a skillet over medium-high heat and coat with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Season the tuna generously with salt and pepper. Lay the tuna in the hot oil and sear for 1 minute on each side to form a slight crust. Pour 1/2 of the cilantro mixture into the pan to coat the fish. Serve the seared tuna with the sliced avocado and the remaining cilantro sauce drizzled over the whole plate.

Mexican Chicken (super easy)
-1 can rotel
-1 can cream of mushroom soup
-1 can cream of chicken soup
-1 bag of nacho cheese chips (or regular tortilla chips, but Doritos taste the best)
-2 cups shredded cheese (or more if you're a big cheese fan)
-1 can of pitted black olives, drained (optional)
-About 3 or 4 large chicken breasts, boneless, cut up into 1-inch squares (or you can use 2 cans of chicken breast, but i prefer cutting it myself, it tastes fresher).
Heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, and crunch it all up together. Place mixture into two 8x10 baking dishes. Sprinkle more shredded cheese on top of both. Cook until the cheese on top is bubbly, about 15-20 minutes. Let cool for about 15 minutes, and enjoy!!

Nacho Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients:
2 cups small elbow macaroni
1/2 cup bottled thick and chunky salsa verde (medium heat)
1 cup (packed) fresh cilantro leaves
3 cups (packed) coarsely grated sharp cheddar cheese (12 ounces), divided
4 teaspoons all purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon (scant) ground cloves
1 cup large corn chips
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Cook macaroni in large saucepan of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite, stirring occasionally, about 6 minutes. Drain.
Meanwhile, blend salsa and cilantro in processor. Toss 2 cups cheese and flour in medium bowl to coat.
Bring milk, cream, and cloves to simmer in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add cheese mixture. Whisk until sauce is smooth, about 1 minute. Mix in macaroni; season with pepper.
Spread half of macaroni mixture in 11 x 7-inch baking dish. Drop half of salsa mixture over in dollops. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining macaroni mixture and salsa mixture. Sprinkle chips over. Top with 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake until heated through, about 10 minutes.
