Depends on your theological conclusion after interpreting the Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic and Latin . If you use the King James version--You will find that Jesus is part of the triune God Head. Nowhere does it say or use the term Trinity but the meaning is self understanding to most Interpreters, and theologians. The Trinity has been part of the Christian Religion since the second century. Most major denominations accept that belief.
Other interpretation have come forth, the LDS (Mormon) church accepts the Book of Mormon (another testament of Jesus) This Church hold Jesus as a Good man (Son of God) Who was the Son who died on the Cross, He is not part of God. He is the Son, Totally separate from God the Father.
Another interpretation the Jehovah Witnesses--Their Bible was written as a result of a vision their founder had. This interpretation changes much of the King James through Punctuation and verbage correction. Their correction happen to fit the doctrine of their Founder. They believe Jesus(Gods son) is a lesser god but not God.
Who is Jesus all three religions have their followers. I suggest you Pray about it and take your choice. Where ever you are led. I have my beliefs but I will not push them, The question was Who is Jesus.
There are other groups of Christians whose belief system put Jesus as a Savior with varied degree of the three major Beliefs
Other Religions think Jesus was a prophet who thought himself to be the son of God. Some reject his sonship.
Who is Jesus all Christian religions have their followers. I suggest you Pray about it and take your choice. Where ever you are led. I have my beliefs but I will not push them, The question was Who is Jesus.
May you find your search rewarding.

To the earlier answer: That is the new testament Einstein"
Here is so others:
Jesus was created the almighty has always been here, these are the scriptures to prove it.
(Colossians 1:15-17) . . .5 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist,
(Revelation 3:14) 14 “And to the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ce´a write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God,
(Acts 7:55) 55Â But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand,
(Revelation 1:1) 1 A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent forth his angel and presented [it] in signs through him to his slave John,
(Revelation 7:10) 10Â And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

have you heard of the new testament?
edit* for the chick below who didn't catch this as a satire against nitpicking the bible by not continuing to read the passage you are reading.
Hebrews was specifically written to jewish converts who were familiar with the old testament and who were being tempted to revert back to Judaism.
In the next three to four chapters it continues to prove to the jewish converts that Jesus is not a mere man nor could he be.
Superior to the Angels, Moses and to the Aaronic Priests.
Hebrews 3
5:Moses was faithful as a servant IN all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future.
6:but Christ is faithful as a son OVER God's house. And we are his house.
Jesus is over God's house, how could a prophet ever be over God's own unless it was God himself? Trinity.
Moses was in God's house, i.e. part of it
We are his house, God's house is made up of God's people, his household.
As well as his people cannot be over eachother.

It depends what gospel you read. Jesus always refers to himself as the son of Man, which was also a title of ezekiel who was known to be a mortal. The beginning of Matthew has the Holy spirit come down and say he is his son. And at his trial he indirectly admits to claiming to be the son of God, but this could mean that his disciples called him that. So I would have to say that he is jsut a prophet who was of virgin birth.

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)
" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)
"... you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he (Messiah, Son of God) you shall die in your sins". - Jesus (Jn. 8:24)
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

Did you know that Jesus is mentioned in the Old Testament? He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fire. He appeared as "THE angel of the Lord" (as opposed to "AN angel of the Lord") to many different people, who bowed down to worship Him. The reason He did not correct them is because they were right to bow down and worship Him.
As for your question, Jesus was not only the Son of God, according to the Gospel, but He WAS and IS God.
