I can't decided to take spainish or latin for my freshmen year next year. We are schudling classes at the end of the week and I can't decided!I get really good grades in English and my english teacher says that I would do good in Spainish. But can you give me your opinion? Thanx so Much!

if you learn latin you'll have an even easier time wiht English and all of the other romance languages. if you want spanish it will be fun! I've heard latin is good but a dead language so you might want spanish

It depends on what you are looking for. Spanish and Latin are very alike. Would you rather?
a) be able to communicate with alot of people from other countries
b) be able to understand medicine and read ancient writings.

A is Spanish, B is Latin. It doesn't matter which you choose as to how well you will do but it does matter what you want to do with it.

I would take a language that would be most useful to you in life. Latin if you're planning on learning any other languages later. But Spanish if you're dying to know what the most rapid growing race in the US is saying! If it were me I would take Spanish!
