Satanism : Anton Szandor LaVey A Fake?

Question

I've been doing research report on Modern Satanism. I agree with some of his things, I've read the Life by Barton, Satan Speaks, Devils Notebook and The Satanic Bible. But After reading article online, it deunces much of what is in Barton Bio. Not to mention what his daugther says, I take what she says with a grain of salt, becuase she seem to have it in for her dad.

Can anyone tell me a Little more about him, what's true and what's not.

Anton Szandor LaVey, born Howard Stanton Levey[1][2] (11 April 1930 – 29 October 1997) was the founder and High Priest of the Church of Satan as well as a writer, occultist, musician, and actor. He is the author of The Satanic Bible and the founder of LaVeyan Satanism, a synthesized system of his understanding of human nature and the insights of philosophers who advocated materialism and individualism, for which he claimed no "supernatural inspiration”. LaVey viewed "Satan" not as a literal deity or entity, but as a historic and literary figure symbolic of Earthly values.

he passed down his throne to Marylin Manson when he died and its really up to you to believe what is reall and not... it has to be felt in the heart and not in other peoples words...

Satan was a created creature his power has limits focus your energy on God and Jesus. Even the demon knew of his power and tremble.

The Healing of a Demon-possessed Man

11A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. 12The demons begged Jesus, "Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them." 13He gave them permission, and the evil spirits came out and went into the pigs. Notice this verse:

Revelation 12

He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Satan knows he will be defeated but is bling in rage and still thinks he can win a futile fight against God the almighty!!!
