how can I ask it, wihtout meaning it? I mean, "will you go out with me" sounds like an older person thing. technically I'm not going to "go out" with him if he says yes, being that I'm only 14. but I don't wanna ask, "will you be my boyfriend" either because that sounds too childish. any suggestions?

Just be casual. And before you ask him outget comfortable in a group with him. Ask a friend of yours to thro a study party or somthing and invite him. After you are comforatable, say somthing like "Heyy, wanna see a movie on Friday? I hear this one is really good." But always remember. R-e-l-a-x

Hey it's not suppose to actually mean what it sounds like. Anyways point is I think will you go out with me sounds better. And hey the point is you want him to say yes so does it really matter how you say it?

my boyfriend asked me out that way exactly.
all of them did.
to me it sounds normal and im only a year younger than you and my boyfriend is younger than me too.
haha just even if you dont your peers probably consider that as making you a couple.
as you get old thats different unless you actually go out.
and you could but for ME i find it weird when guys are ilke "wanna go out to the movies some time"

Your only 14...where are you going to "go out" to? Just ask him if he wants to be your boyfriend...its the only logical way to do it. Just ask and get it over with...the worst that could happen is he say no....in that case why would you want him anyways....and move on!
