Honestly, you can believe whatever you want...
But believing in something doesn't change whether or not God exists or whether or not heaven and hell exists.
As for you making comments on "believing he was our savior", I would wonder...WHO is your savior...and WHAT is he supposedly saving you from?
If Jesus Christ is your savior...and you believe He died for YOU on the cross...so that you may be forgiven of your sins, I would ask...WHY did you need to be forgiven of your sins?
The answer is...God is just and holy...and cannot just look the other way when it comes to sin. Sin must be punished, or else God would be declared unjust.
If a man raped and killed your mom and sister (or did something more horrible and personal)...would you want the judge to just say to this murdering rapist, "ahhh...don't worry about it...I forgive you, go in peace..." and just let the murder rapist walk out of the court room a free man...???
When you accept Jesus Christ as "Savior" it is saying that you admit you are a sinner before God, and JUSTLY deserve to be punished in hell. However, you freely received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins...and thus freeing you from the penalty of sin. It is also saying that He is freeing you from the power of sin in this life (in an ongoing fight) and that He will yet free you from the very presence of sin in Heaven.
Not believing in the realities of heaven and hell merely make me question whether you have TRULY received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior...for it indicates that you probably don't really understand what that means...
But alas, God alone knows your heart.

due to the fact that nothing can be proved and religion is based soley on faith you can beleive whatever helps you get through the day. Be it that there is a god but no heaven and hell or that our creator is really a spagetti monster. whatever makes you happy and as long as you treat people good.

so does this mean if there is a god that i can murder and do whatever i want and the judge will be smart enough to to put me in jail for a little while but when i die and my ETERNITY is being decided god will actually be the one to say "ahhh...don't worry about it...I forgive you, go in peace..."
because jesus died for all our sins?????
well that sounds like a sweet deal.....maybe i'll start beleiving now.

i in my view am an atheist and don't have confidence in Heaven or souls. The afterlife isn't a central area of Jewish faith. the main famous perception seems to be that the ineffective are ineffective for now, yet would be resurrected in yet another worldwide after this one ends. The greater good you're, the greater effectual your place there will be. Being Jewish isn't a call for, yet because of the fact the Torah is all approximately the thank you to be "good" in this existence, being Jewish definitely provides an income. Christians do have confidence that for the time of basic terms Christians bypass to heaven. maximum have confidence something bypass to Hell, nevertheless the Bible itself in basic terms means that we proceed to be ineffective perpetually. it rather is not probable approximately good deeds, it rather is approximately God/Jesus doing a choose for his acquaintances. Telling people they are greater effectual than anybody else is an spectacular thank you to make your faith general. it rather is not rational and it rather is definitely not honest, yet people do not % their ideals on those standards. i know little or no approximately Buddhism, yet i'm especially particular it does not have an afterlife. it began out as a desire to break the Hindu cycle of reincarnation. some Buddhists have confidence in shifting directly to a heaven or hell. Others have confidence that once loss of life the human soul can % to quit to exist as somebody.

I don't think that your belief or lack there of in heaven really means anything. Most religious historians actually think the Christianity got there story of hell from a pagan religion. Either Zoroastrianism or Sol Envictus, or whatever it's called.

There are 162 references to HELL in the New Testament alone, over 70 of those spoken by Jesus Himself.
" He that believes (the gospel) and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus
"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)
Jesus called it a literal place of REAL torment.
