I have a quick question reguarding WMP 11.?

When i launch my WMP it plays music just fine, and the now playing section also works, but when i go to watch a video, its just black. On the last video i attempted to run, i did not hear any sound either. Any idea on why this is occuring? Or any idea on how to help fix the problem. Btw im currently runnin on dial up, so its gonna be hard for me to install and uninstall. Thanks for any answers reguarding this problem.

The problem could be that you don't have the right codec for the video, you could try downloading some codec packs.

try vlc instead it takes all vidformats
