A lemonade bottle prevents contact between lemonade and air. A condom prevents sexual contact between partners.

Is it fornication if a condom is used?

I am happily married and would never look outside my marriage. But I have found that sex using condoms is a soulless and thin act, and I mean this aside from the reduced physical sensitivity. I know it's too much of a stretch to imply that using a condom makes a difference to fornication. Still, I don't know what the reduced connection when using a condom means. I suppose I asked this question to see indirectly if anyone felt the same way.

Fornication is defined as:
consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other

Sooooo..... only if they aren't married. ;-)

You cannot fornicate with lemons, if that is what you mean. But if you are having sex with fruits & vetagables, that might imply that something else is wrong with you.

I think that you realize that a mere technically like using a condom is not going to get you off the hook. You need to commit before you make love. Not way around it.

Yes - it is. Fornication is any sexual activity between unmarried persons. With or without a condom it's still fornication.

How ridiculous , but I will still answer, so you cant say you werent told. You cant plead ignorance to God, its our job to learn truth.

Sexual contact before marriage is fornication, even oral sex. We arent to touch each others private parts or see them. Its sexual purity God asks for. With or without a condom its still fornication. and GOd says what we think in our heart, we have done in our minds and will be held accountbile for just like we did it.
So, yes its still fornication. Put your mind on pure things of God and watch how quickly your life changes.
See this person you love before marriage as a gift from God, and treat her as such. God blsses you with the right woman.
Dont defile her or yourself and then ask God to bless your union. Obedience leads to blessing and disobedience leads to curse.
Keep asking questions.

Fornication is sex outside of marriage, whether or not you are using "protection."
