I have used my camera/scanner wizard for windows xp but now it will not load my pictures from the chip,, can anyone help me fix this problem ? when I put the chip into my computer tower to create a new folder or try to send it to my pictures it says the system can not read the card or pictures on it,, ,,how can I fix this ? please help,,

If you know for sure that the card is good then theard reader itself may be defective, if it's a USB reader try reloading any drivers that came with it, if it's a built in card, check the cabling to the board inside the pc.

With the card in the card reader, click START then My Computer.

If the card appears as a drive, then click START> All Programs> Accessories> Scanner & Camera Wizard. This should transfer your pictures.

If the card doesn't appear as a drive, but it works on the camera... your reader is possibly not working.

Another thought ... is the card correctly formatted? You might want to re-format it.

If the Wizard worked by forcing it to start- Right-click the media card's drive letter and choose properties. Next, click the AutoPlay tab and check the "Prompt me each time..." option.

i could propose a change of plan. maximum human beings regulars right here use and propose usb card readers for upload. they're no longer intense priced and are available in the position ever cameras are offered.
