I'm not a guy, lol but I do understand your frustrations. Your boyfriend is not alone, they all pretty much do the same thing. They seem to appreciate you less, and do not do the little small things that attracted us to them. I think they feel the challenge is over and they do not have to do anything that we will just always be there, I know for a fact that we will tolerate this for awhile because we love them so much, but at some point what is going to happen, is some other man is going to come along and give you attention, and show you affection and those little things that you crave and that is when you will be faced with what to do and who you think is right for you. Some women treat their men not so great so I can't say that this advice goes for all men/women/couples, but I do see this as the beginning of a relationship having issues, because you are craving that attention and the sweetness that you love so much about HIM. Some men will change this, if you talk to him and confront him, some it won't matter, even if you do, you will have to decide if your man will listen to what you have to say, good luck

dur cuz all we want is a shot at yer stuff dur dur.
Please don't stereotype. Seriously, just because the guy isn't stunningly romantic anymore, doesn't mean he doesn't care. Have you done anything for him lately? Gonna let a relationship get stale? Maybe its your turn.
"you guys." Psh. I've dated the same girl for 2 years, and we were all romantic and stuff at first, then it simmers after awhile. You see old couples who are married that burst out of birthday cakes every saturday morning? No.

Honest?
They get tired of it, it's just too much work to keep up the act after they already have you. Fact is men are not really like that to begin with, it's just an act to get you to like them. Same thing goes for women, why do they stop treating you like a king, why do they stop jumping your bones every five seconds, why do they stop trying to look their best whenever they see you?
Works both ways.

everyone expresses themself differently. He may be just shy and know only one way of expressing it. Guys do tend to drift off the expressions as we get to know the one we are with but we should not do this. I try and tell my GF that she is beautiful and I love her when i speak with her. By him saying I love you in a chidish way he may be embarrassed and does it in a comical way to avoid the nervousness. Talk to him about it. good luck

I treat my girlfriend the same today as I did the first time we went out. All guys are not the same . Some treat woman better than others.

Many men and some women become so comfortable in a relationship that they do not feel that affectionate reminders of how they feel are needed. It sounds like your boyfriend needs to be reminded how important you are and why he is with you in the first place.

Because we can only fake being "romantic" for so long. That is truly a girl thing. It's a strain on us to have to constantly be doing things to show a girl that we're interested. Why can't you just accept that we're wired differently and get on with whatever else it is that girls do?

I'm a girl but I'm still answering. Not all guys are like that. My boyfriend has been sweet to me for the whole year we've been together. You just meet assholes, try expanding your horizons.

Well you need a man not a boy. Because I boy will be come childish and act dumb. But a real man will treat you like you need to be treated and will always be there for you.
