I only eat like 1 sweet each day since there is never sweets at my house. And its really not what I eat that makes my diet bad but its how much I eat of it!! or how much I eat period.
im a teen. 5 '1 and weigh 123 pounds. What scares me is each school year I gain about five ponds. But I want to do exercise activities to get in shape so it WILL keep me from overeating. These are some activities I like and will probably do if it will work: love riding my bike, take walks sometimes, dancing, sit-ups, jump rope.
I need to lose 10 pounds thats all, please help!!!!
thanks

Good! But please understand, you are 15; you're still growing. Depending on your genetics, your mom and dad and the rest of your family tree, you will continue to grow until you are 19 or so. That's 4 more years. You will put on some weight. So, here are some options for you to work at and try.

First, the more you work the greater the metabolism of your body. In other words, the more you work the more your body will burn calories at rest. The less body fat you have the greater your metabolism will be. Turn the activities into muscle mass. you will be healthier and the chicks will like it. It's okay to be 5'1" and ripped like Mr. Universe. Just don't go overboard and do the 'roid thing.

Second, don't just do thins "sometimes" set goals for yourself and work at them. Also, check what you are eating to make sure it's not bad. It is better to over eat carrots or oranges than it is to over eat cake and ice cream.

Here are some sites you may want to check out that can help you, www.absdiet.com, www.menshealth.com, www.glycemicindex.com, just about any exercise web site to google a few and keep at it.

Good Luck.

eat whey protein in a "milkshake" (like from GNC or PUritans Pride) about a half hour before you excercise... itll help u burn off stored fats as fuel... good luck, but remember u will add some muscle weight by working out which will definitely make u look better but not necessarily make u weigh alot less.

your body mass index is 23.2, well within normal range. You are not overweight. I would encourage you to be active and exercise to tone your body and remain healthy, but stop worrying about your weight as it is normal for your height.
