I am getting my braces off in 10 days and I wanted to know what color retainer I should get. My orthodontist doesn't offer sparkly retainers, ones with stickers, or the clear invisiline ones. My favorite color is pink but my sister has pink and I don't want to get ours mixed up. I have heard that colors like blue and purple are very noticable...is this true? Thanks for any input!

yes, the blue and purple make the inside of ur mouth dark, and it looks weird. dont worry about getting a pink retainer, cuz urs n ur sisters retainers will look different. make sure to get different boxes though, that will b helpful! so, go ahead, get the pink one, just make sure u know the difference visually to prevent mixing em up. there really shouldnt b a chance to mix them up as long as u always put them in ur box...and u will get reminded to always put them in the box so u dont lose them! i didnt listen and lost one after putting it in my shirt pocket. then i stepped on one after setting it on the night stand and knocked it over. needless to say i always kept them in the box after that!

GO FOR THE PINK or even red. You don't want friends and family noticing the retainer. You want them to notice your beautiful smile.

You will have that retainer for a while, I would go with something smart. Unless you have a purple mouth, I would go with something natural.

Get a fantastic colour. do on no account wrap your retainer in a serviette and take a seat it on your tray. constantly placed it contained in the field. you're certain to throw it away quicker or later on twist of destiny yet once you maintain it contained in the field you would be much less in all likelihood. I spent a pair of sessions digging by using rubbish finding for my retainer in Junior extreme and it is not exciting.

Yes, oh God, I chose blue and I hated it.

If you should choose any color choose something that's closes to the tint of your gums- it does have to be pink, but something like orange or red maybe?

Hope that helped.

Yes they are. I would get a very neutral color, or even clear.
