Penicillin VK?

How soon after taking penicillin VK (500 mg 4x a day for 7 days) will my birth control pills work again?

im not completely sure by the meds seeing im allergic to penicillin but for most antibiotics it works this way. once you start taking them for a couple days (like 3-4) youll start to have breakthrough bleeding like a period and it will probably last the same amount of time. you keep taking your pills though. after your done when your taking your pills it will be like starting them over in a way. it should only take a week after that and they should be effective. make sure you use a back-up method just incase and depending on your pill the foldout directions should explain this.
