Then you might not be popular.
You shouldn't be conceited and try to say that "you're popular." If you really are popular, you don't need to say it. I, for one, sing and play guitar in a rather successful band in the area, and I may then qualify as popular. But I don't go telling people i'm a popular person.
Ahem. Secondly, you might not be friends with the people if they're not inviting you to parties. When you grow older, you will learn and see that many people are just nice to be nice, and then they can hose you at any chance they get. For instance, those "friends" wont invite you to their party, but when you have one, by God "I bttr git n invite lolzorz."
Try not to worry about it, and don't worry about being "popular." Be yourself, and the friends will come to you.

The way I see it is that you might be popular but not someone to be friends with. That happens you know. Being popular doesn't always mean that you can be trusted or can be looked upon as an equal. Many people hang around popular persons in order to get recognition of their own being but when it comes down to be friends, thats another story. If I were you I wouldn't try to be popular just for the sake of being popular. This could lead you to loose your own identity just to satisfy others. Define yourself first and then a circle of friends will appear that will fit in with who and what you are fulfilling your needs and theirs more than they are fulfilled now. Good luck.

I'll have to agree with the last answer on here. Maybe you're not as popular as you think. And there's nothing worse than someone who thinks their cool when there not, so that's probably why they're not inviting, cause you think you're too cool. Just a thought.

well there is different types of popular it really depends in your personality if your fun to hang out with and outgoing people will probably invite you. often if your shy and quite then is no fun to have in a party except if your related to whoever is trowing the party.

Yeah maybe you're not a popular as you think. If your "friends" treat you like that then they're probably not really your friends. Don't worry about it ditch them and find people who will like you for who you are and you'll be way happier.
Good Luck!

They're the crappiest friends ever. Get new friends. Also, I've often found that those outside of the "popular" ring are better friends and nicer people. But, obviously they are not goo friends. Also, don't "talk to them." There bad friends, and nothing is going to change that.

maybe because you may not realize that you may not act as nice as you think towards others. everyone has a different view on things. so what you may think of as nice comments and actions may not be what your so called friends do. or it may be that what you thought were your friends may not be your true friends. maybe you should think of getting new friends that want to hang around you and invite you to parties.

who cares? it probably a highschool party and that's pretty lame! if you decide to go to college you will realize that no one really gives a **** if you were popular in highschool, maybe because they treat everyone as human beings and not whether you were a cheerleader or in the band.

obviously they are not really your friends. i would look into getting some new friends even if you are not so popular. it's better to have a few true friends than a bunch of crappy ones

Maybe they just assume you will come along and there is no need to actually invite you?
