Beef cheeks come from cows {adult cows}. Veal cheeks come from baby or young cows. Yes it come out of their mouth...And since cows chew cud many times over it excersizes their "cheeks" therefore makes a rather musclure peice of meat. Veal comes from baby calf which are fed a milk diet only never cud there is a nipple basically inserted into their pen where they suckle all day which is why the veal is so tender. I wont go on about how its not right and so forth its life it provides the human being food. My husband was prior to selling his land a cattle rancher {he now owns a construction company} and he can go into detail about this and did when I asked him but we wont go into that. Simple and to the point. Beef Cheeks= adult cows tough cut of meat can be good if cooked properly. Veal=baby/young calf very tender cut of meat as their diet is milk based only and they do not have much room to move around and develop major muscle tissues
Yummy! lol

Veal Cheeks are the absolutely delicious cheeks of a baby cow.( yes teh real cheeks, from around the mouth). They are more tender than beef cheeks because they have perfected the way of raising them. Veal production is often considered cruel. However it pales in comparison to the treatment of chickens and pigs. You're a human, enjoy some meat!

What part of the cow do veal cheeks come from? Are they actually from the mouth - or the other cheeks...?

veal comes from sickly baby male calves discarded by the dairy industry. They are confined to pens, unable to move, to prevent them from developing muscle, which keeps the meat tender. They are fed a milk based diet to keep the meat pale. Its a horrible thing for the animal-shocking conditions, no exercise, improper diet. They are usually snatched from the mother right after birth, so humans can get the mothers milk, instead of her calf. The calf is slaughtered usually at 6 weeks of age. The "cheeks" are from the face. Tender, because they had no "cud" to chew, since their diet is liquid based and unnatural. Here is a link with more info

First you should google veal. It is not a cow it is a calf. That is caged where it can never move to prevent the muscles from developing and becoming "tuff" . They are also kept in total darkness most of there poor pitiful existence.

Farage speaks his mind and is not intimidated by the E.U dodo birds,Galloway on the other hand is a bigot and a pro-Islamic apologist, every time I think of him saying he believed Mohamed ascended into heaven from the top of a mosque in Jerusalem only demonstrates what a deluded liar he is,any fool knows there was no mosque in Jerusalem at the time of the prophets death as Islam did not really appear until 200 plus years after his death. So my answer is a definite no.

Nigel Farage is nothing like that obnoxious Gallopaway. They are so afraid of Nigel they are trying a bit of character assassination (I know it well) People in Scotland do seem to be natural left wing leaning.Thats why the Tories have never done well there. At the same time there seems far fewer immigrants there than in England ?
