Mine always said, "Bad manners are never funny." Meals were kind of solemn growing up. Now, in my own home, dinner is more fun. I still repeat the bad manners proverb, but I'm joking when I say it.

What is your favorite Mom quote and do you agree with it?

When I was sad or upset, my Mom always told me "The sun will shine again".
Then there were the silly little songs that she always sang to me, even as an adult because they would always make me smile and laugh, songs like:
"The Froggy Him Am A Queer Bird"
"There's A Whole In The Bottom of The Sea"
"Oh I Had A Little Chicken and He Wouldn't Lay An Egg"
She was so wonderful!

ONE OF MY MOM'S QUOTES WERE....

"YOU SEE MY ARM CIRCLING AROUND ME? THAT IS MYCOMFORT ZONE"

"IT IS TELLING YOU I LIKE MY SPACE AND DON'T TOUCH ME OR HUG ME"

MY MOM'S QUOTE WAS NOT A FAVORITE ONE IT WAS ONE I REMEMBER GROWING UP. SHE WAS A COLD AND CRUEL WOMAN WHO DID NOT LIKE HUGGING OR SAYING SHE LOVED HER KIDS. I USED TO ASK HER "MOM DO YOU LOVE ME?"

SHE WOULD SAY... "DO NOT MAKE ME ANSWER A QUESTION THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LIKE MY RESPONSE"

....BASICALLY THAT WAS A NO.....
I DO NOT KNOW WHERE SHE LIVES OR HER NUMBER OR ANYTHING AND SHE DOES NOT WANT TO E FOUND.... AND SHE TOLD ME THAT WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS 3 THAT SHE DID NOT LIKE HER BECAUSE SHE WAS A "WEIRDO" HOW CAN A 3 YR OLD BE A "WEIRDO"??
